Kon Aiken Turismo is located in the XI Aysen region, in Chile Chico. The route for getting here are various, by vehicle, airplane or ferry.
How to get here:
One of the most frequent routes is by airplane; there are flights from different cities of Chile which land in Balmaceda (BBC) from where passengers can take a bus to Puerto Ibález which lasts 1.5 hour approximately, and from here it is a 2 hours trip by a ferry called “Tehuelche” to Chile Chico.
Another option is through Argentina, by the frontier crossing point Huemules in Balmaceda, or the one called Palavicini in Puerto Ibáñez. From Balmaceda it goes through route RP55 which later on connects with route 40 until arriving to town Perito Moreno; this connects with route RP43 which takes to the frontier crossing point Jeinimeni, which is located in Chile Chico. Otherwise if you choose to arrive through Puerto Ibáñez, this take route RP45 which also reaches Perito Moreno and connects with route RP43 to Chile Chico.
If the route is travelling from Coyhaique, you can take the Carretera Austral Sur until a crossing where it reaches route X65, which takes to Puerto Ibáñez (2 hours). From here you take a ferry to Chile Chico (2.5 hours). If you prefer to travel through the Carretera Austral y seeing its ladscapes, you can take the route through Villa Cerro Castillo which connects with route Ch265 at the crossing “Maitencillo” which is about 7.5 hours of trip to Chile Chico.
